국립군산대학교 국제교류교육원(원장 직무대리 이성관)은 지난 9월 3일 2026년 선발 정부초청 외국인 장학생의 안정적인 한국 생활 지원을 위한 오리엔테이션을 진행했다.
The International Exchange and Education Center (Acting Director Lee Seong-gwan) at Kunsan National University held an orientation on September 3 to support the successful adjustment and stable settlement of international students selected as 2026 Government Scholarship recipients in Korea.
국제교류교육원(원장 직무대리 이성관)이 주관한 이번 오리엔테이션은 유학생들 본교 대학생활에 빠르게 적응할 수 있도록 교무·학사·장학 등 대학생활에 필요한 주요 행정 및 학사 정보를 안내하고, 학내 각종 행사와 학생 지원 프로그램 등 소개와 한국법령관련이해교육, 보이스피싱 및 마약범죄 예방교육, 보건교육도 실시하였다
Organized by the International Exchange and Education Center, the orientation provided newly arrived international students with essential information to help them quickly adapt to university life at Kunsan National University. The program covered key administrative and academic matters, including academic affairs, university policies, and scholarship programs. Students were also introduced to various campus events and student support programs available at the university.
In addition, the orientation included educational sessions on understanding Korean laws and regulations, preventing voice phishing and drug-related crimes, and maintaining personal health and well-being during their stay in Korea.
한편, 국립군산대학교는 외국인 유학생들이 안정적으로 정착하고 학업에 전념할 수 있도록 다양한 학사·생활 지원 프로그램과 국제교류 사업을 지속적으
로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
Kunsan National University plans to continue expanding a wide range of academic and living support programs, as well as international exchange initiatives, to help international students settle into Korea successfully and focus on their studies in a safe and supportive environment.
