Q: I am expected to graduate from high school, can I apply for the Korean language program?

A: A certificate of expected graduation is not recognized as a final academic document, so those who are expected to graduate from high school cannot apply for the Korean language program.

 

Q: I am a foreigner living in Korea now. Can I apply for the Korean language program?

A: If you graduated from high school or have an academic background equal to or higher, you can apply for the Korean language program. Depending on the type of your visa, you can take the Korean language program until the visa expires.

 

Q: Do I have to submit all the original documents?

A: You must submit original documents for final academic certification and financial verification.

 

Q: When do I have to enter Korea?

A: You must enter Korea before the first day of classes for the semester you applied for.

 

Q: Can I use a dormitory?

A: New students in the Korean language program must stay in a dormitory for the first semester (about 3 months).

 

Q: Can I pay the language course fee in installments?

A: You have to pay the tuition in a lump sum.

 

Q: Can I use documents that have been apostilled or consular confirmed in the past?

A: Only documents issued within 6 months of the application date are accepted. So please check the expiration date and apply.

 

Q: How many semesters can I take at most?

A: You can take the Korean language program for up to 8 semesters (up to 2 years), including the first semester.

 

Q: Can I go home during the semester?

A: During the semester, you are not allowed to travel abroad unless it is for a family occasion. Additionally, if you leave the country for a family occasion, you may only return to Korea during the duration of your authorised stay.

 

Q: How do I get a refund of my tuition if I drop out halfway?

A: It will be refunded to the account under your name, and in the case of overseas remittance, the remittance fee will be deducted from the expected refund amount.

 

Q: If the materials covered in a class do not suit my level, in my opinion. Is it possible for me to make changes?

A: Yes, You can make changes.
